I like that lady! I think that if some asshole broke into my place and tried coming after me, I'd react the same way. My home is my sanctuary, and anyone who violates it (and scares my cats into the bargain) is toast. I'm not exactly a small person, either.

She left this message on her voicemail: "I'm not able to answer all the calls that I've received in the past few days. I'm being comforted by your concern and your support. I want you to know that our lives are all at risk for random acts, but more likely random acts of love will come your way than random acts of violence."
Now how special is that. She obviously has more than physical strength. I'd like to meet this lady...

How sad is that? You cannot be safe in your own home!

She is one gutsy lady for sure.

:th_WooHooBravo:Wish I could find the story, but about 10 years ago a rapist broke into the home of a sleeping LPN in Edwards, MS (tiny little place, but my big brother lives there!) and assaulted her.

She literally dragged him outside by the testicles while waiting for a response to her 911 call. The would-be rapist wound up begging the police to arrest him and get "this crazy $itch to leggo o'my balls!"

Nurse, especially us old battleaxes, are some tough Mothers!!:th_::th_:

I understand that hyperextending a finger or two, with vigor, can also render someone helpless with pain, if their balls are too tiny to do any damage, that is.
